Parents are often overwhelmed with results of various tests done by the school to assess the cognitive functioning, language ability, and academic performance of a child with special needs.  The following links can help you understand the purpose of some of the more popular or common tests, what they measure, and how to interpret the results.  A link for the SAT and ACT tests are included as well.

Now Article 7 has been changed and has eliminated the requirement for a Special Education Director for our public schools.
